EV charging for office buildings in Florida

Employees park for eight hours. That's a full charge on Level 2, using time the car is already sitting there.

Why it works

The workday is a charging window

A car parked from nine to five doesn't need fast charging. Level 2 covers a full day's commute several times over, which makes an office garage one of the easiest places to put chargers.

For tenants, it's an amenity that shows up in renewal conversations. For landlords, it's a way to make parking count for something in a building that competes on amenities.

For office landlords and asset managers

  • Landlords whose tenants are asking about charging
  • Asset managers comparing amenity spend across a portfolio
  • Buildings with structured parking and spare electrical capacity
  • Mixed-use properties serving tenants and visitors

What the landlord takes on

An amenity without the capital line

For qualified properties, we fund, install and operate the chargers. Your building gets the amenity without the capital request, the procurement exercise or the maintenance contract.

We handle payments, monitoring, maintenance, reporting and driver support, and we report on usage so you can see what the chargers are doing.

Qualification depends on parking, electrical capacity, demand and room to expand — a site evaluation settles it.

  • $0 upfront capital for qualified properties
  • Drivers pay for their own charging sessions
  • Charging electricity is reimbursed under the program
  • Participating properties share in charging revenue
  • We handle permitting, installation, monitoring and maintenance

Questions

What property teams ask first.

How many chargers does an office building need?

Start with current demand rather than a guess at future demand. Because a workday is long, each charger serves more drivers than it would at a retail site. We size the first installation to what the building uses now and plan where the next ones go.

Can tenants be charged different rates?

Pricing and access are set during design. Chargers can be open to anyone parking in the building, restricted to tenants, or priced differently for visitors.

What does the landlord pay?

For qualified properties, no upfront capital. US Supercharge funds and installs the equipment and operates it. Drivers pay for their sessions, charging electricity is reimbursed under the program, and participating properties share in charging revenue.

Does this work for mixed-use buildings?

Yes. Office, retail and residential parking often share a garage, and chargers serve all of them. The evaluation looks at how the parking is used through the day, which usually makes mixed-use sites stronger candidates, not weaker ones.
